Class 1 driver

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Class 1 driver to work on a adhoc basis.

Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Location: Birmingham

Job Type: Temporary, Holiday Cover

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods to various locations.

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely deliveries.

• Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customer

• Help load and unload the vehicle

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.

• Proven experience as a Class 1 Driver.

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.

• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.

• Ability to work flexible hours during holiday periods.

• Good communication and organizational skills.
