About the role
We're looking for a senior press and PR manager for research, health information and services to join our talented and ambitious press, PR and celebrity team.
The successful candidate will lead on developing the media strategy for these areas of the charity's work to build profile that further cements our position as the 'go to' experts on breast cancer across key stakeholders.
You'll play a key role as a senior manager within our wider ambitious and supportive fundraising, communications and engagement directorate, which has a focus and drive to reach and engage more people than ever before in our work and to develop our fundraising to continue to be a sustainable organisation for the future.
About you
Great at building relationships including across colleagues, journalists, partner institutions, service managers and ambassadors of Breast Cancer Now and people affected by breast cancer, you'll work strategically, collaboratively and at pace to deliver outstanding results.
With an instinctive news sense, you'll bring to life the impact of our world-class research, award-winning information and life-changing services for anyone affected by breast cancer, positioning the charity at the heart of the news agenda as patient-focused and championing the needs of everyone affected by this devastating disease.
As a proactive self-starter, you'll be adept at driving forward strategic media activity, seizing opportunities and identifying creative ways to showcase our research, health information and services to secure engagement and support that enables us to continue this vital work.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based in our London office. Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home.
