EAL Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Croydon

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled EAL Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic primary school in Croydon. If you have experience supporting children who are learning English as an additional language, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to EAL students to help them access the curriculum
• Assist with planning and delivering lessons for EAL learners
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to develop English language skills
• Support teachers in creating an inclusive, language-friendly environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with EAL students
• Strong understanding of EAL strategies
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, TEFL/TESOL) preferred
