Architectural Fabricator

Advanced Recruit Ltd are recruiting for our client in the Telford area who are a leading manufacturer of Staircases, Balustrade, Balconies, Entrance Canopies and Architectural Metalwork , the company are recruiting for a skilled and experienced architectural fabricator.

The main tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the position:

Key Responsibilities.

• Working on a bench within a team of other fabricator/welders
• Marking out steel sections and plate to suit fabrication drawings
• Cutting, burning, and prepping steelwork in line with fabrication drawings
• Welding steel sections and plate to suit fabrication drawings
• Use of various machinery around the fabrication shop.
• Use of a band-saw Applicants for this position should ideally possess the follow qualifications, qualities, and knowledge:
• Personal Qualifications
• NVQ Level 3 in Plating and/or Welding
• Qualifications from a recognised authority for proving competence of welding
• Forklift driving license
• Extensive experience fabricating structural steelwork
• Experience of fabricating architectural steelwork including stair flights and balustrades/staircases.
• Highly motivated individual that can adapt to a rapid shift in workload at any time.
