The Company

• My client are Specialists in Manufacturing and Installation of Doors & Windows.
• They have over 35 years experience.
• Working across Glazing, Windows & Doors and some cladding works.
• They predominately work on residential projects ranging up to 15m.

The Role - Senior Estimator

My client are looking for a proactive Senior Estimator, who has a strong background in the facade/glazing/fenestration industry to join them in their office in Birmingham Centre.

Duties:

• Assessment of incoming enquiries for suitability and risk.
• Analysis of any potential technical issues including liaising with relevant consultants, architects and clients to bring to a successful conclusion.
• Preparation and submission of subcontract and material enquiries and assessment of incoming quotations for suitability/value.
• Attend/conduct meetings with client/architect/consultant.
• Carry out full take off and detailed pricing.
• Working alongside a team of Senior Estimators & Estimators
• Training / mentoring Junior Estimators where needed

Candidates require the following as a minimum:

• 5 years+ in estimating roles within the glazing/fenestration industry.
• Working knowledge in Aluminium glazing systems.
