A prominent global investment firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Communications to join their dynamic team in London.

As the Head of Communications, your primary objective is to lead and execute comprehensive communication strategies for their private equity company and their portfolio companies in the field of mining, mining-related adjacencies, and renewable energy infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and conveying their organisation's key messages to various stakeholders, enhancing their brand reputation, and promoting their mission. You will also manage the CEO's global media comms strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the firm's visibility and reputation as well as their portfolio companies.
  2. Develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with the company's goals, including for new investments, exits, and other transactions.
  3. Craft and disseminate compelling narratives for the CEO and its mining portfolio companies.
  4. Manage all aspects of internal and external communications, including media relations, public affairs, and investor communications.
  5. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as investors, media outlets, industry associations, and government agencies.
  6. Lead the creation of compelling content across various platforms, including press releases, presentations, website content, and social media channels.
Your Skills:
  1. Experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles, preferably within the financial services or natural resources sectors.
  2. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies that drive business results and enhance brand reputation.
  3. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
  4. Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to anticipate and respond to emerging issues and trends.
  5. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve goals and deliver results.
