THE ROLE

The Global Head of Pricing is responsible for developing, leading, and executing the pricing strategy for the company's product suite including our SaaS financial services platform. This individual will optimize pricing models, identify opportunities to drive revenue growth, and ensure pricing is competitive in various global markets.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, sales, marketing, and finance to ensure that pricing aligns with the value delivered and market dynamics.
This role will report to the worldwide Vice President of Sales Operations.

OPPORTUNITIES

  • Develop Global Pricing Strategy: You will lead the creation and execution of a global pricing strategy that maximizes revenue, profitability, and market penetration for the company's SaaS solutions across diverse financial services markets.
  • Pricing Models & Structures: You will design and refine pricing models that are tailored to customer segments, regions, and product offerings (e.g., usage-based, tiered pricing, value-based pricing). Ensure pricing scales effectively with product adoption and customer success.
  • Revenue Optimization: You will identify opportunities to optimize existing pricing structures through market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback. Collaborate with finance to model the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: You will conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to ensure that the company's pricing is both competitive and aligned with industry trends. Use data-driven insights to adjust pricing strategies as needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You will work closely with product, sales, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing with product value, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategies. Ensure all stakeholders are informed of pricing changes and strategies.
  • Global and Regional Alignment: You will ensure that pricing strategies are adaptable to regional market needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive environments across various global territories.
  • Discounting and Deal Desk Oversight: You will define guidelines for discounting and special pricing arrangements.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: You will implement tools and metrics to monitor pricing effectiveness, pricing leakage, customer churn, and win/loss analysis. Use data to guide pricing revisions and product offerings.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Communication: You will lead presentations and discussions with the executive leadership team on pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and revenue opportunities.

SKILLS

  • You should have 10+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or product management in a SaaS or technology environment, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • You should have a proven track record of developing and implementing global pricing strategies.
  • You should have experience with pricing models for SaaS businesses (subscription, usage-based, tiered, etc.).
  • You should have in-depth understanding of SaaS, including customer needs, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape.
  • You should have strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and pricing optimization tools.
  • You should have expertise in data analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking.
  • You should have exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • You should have excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for distilling complex pricing concepts into actionable strategies.
  • You should have experience with pricing tools and financial systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, pricing software).
  • You should have advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
