Role Summary

Due to continued success and an increasing order book, our client based in Wigan is looking to recruit an experienced TOOLMAKER.

• The ideal candidate will be Time Served and have served a recognised apprenticeship in a precision engineering environment, ideally in the Blow or Injection die and mould

industry but not essential.

• We are ideally looking for an exceptional Toolmaker with many years of experience of working in a Precision Engineering environment who has proven experience of using
• Manual Lathes, Milling and Grinding machines and has excellent bench skills.

Main duties would include:

• The development and the assembly of Injection and Blow Mould Tools by studying engineering assembly drawings and Computer Models and applying knowledge of materials, machining and assembly methods.
• The ideal candidate will be rewarded with an excellent Salary and paid overtime is readily available and paid at time and half.

Working hours and benefits:

• 39 Hours per week

• Mon to Thurs 7.30am to 4.00pm

• Fri 7.30am to 3.00pm

• Overtime paid at time and half

• Company Pension Scheme after 3 months

PAYE Pay rates

• £17.00 - £18.00 per hour
