SEND Teaching Assistant - Liverpool (Supply Basis)

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team on a supply basis in Liverpool. You will work with children aged 5-11 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting their academic and personal development in both mainstream and specialist settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to children with SEND in small groups or one-to-one settings.
• Assist with daily classroom activities and ensure students are engaged in learning.
• Provide personal care when required, ensuring the dignity and wellbeing of the children.
• Help develop social skills and encourage independence.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEND, ideally within the 5-11 age range.
• Willingness to perform personal care duties as required.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to adapt to different schools and learning environments.
