The role

We're looking for someone who is passionate about building brands for long-term success while driving immediate results across all social channels. This is a unique opportunity to grow our social channels cross-platform and drive our social media strategy with viral content, distinctive storytelling, and genuinely transformational messages. The Associate Head of Brand and Content will sit with the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, and will lead and nurture a team of creatives producing platform-native content at a volume and quality level unmatched in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the growth of our social media channels across platforms
  2. Drive a viral social media strategy and create transformative content
  3. Oversee and nurture a team of creatives producing high-quality, native content
  4. Collaborate closely with the leadership team, reporting to the CEO
  5. Direct content strategy that balances editorial integrity with measurable business results
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience: Led a fast-growing social media presence with 3M+ followers
  2. Leadership: Prior experience as a content director, head of content, or marketing leader at a major or fast-growing media/creator business
  3. Creative vision: 5+ years of experience managing content production teams, balancing quality with demanding schedules
  4. Skilled storyteller: Strong writing, storytelling, and visual media skills with a keen understanding of culturally relevant topics
  5. Brand strategist: Deep understanding of brand-building, content strategy, and project management
  6. Analytical mindset: Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Tubebuddy, VidIQ, Metricool, Meta Ad Manager, etc.
  7. Platform fluency: Strong understanding of content management systems (e.g., Notion, Buffer, Hypefury) and workflow platforms (e.g., Asana, Notion)
  8. Editorial integrity: Ability to uphold editorial standards, manage output, and measure content's impact on customer engagement and revenue
