Textiles Teacher

Role: Teacher of Textiles
Full-time/Part-time: Part-time (0.8 FTE)
Commencing: January 2025

We are seeking a highly motivated, committed, and inspiring Teacher of Textiles to join the schools Visual Arts and Design and Technology Curriculum Area.

As part of the team, you will be responsible for teaching a range of courses, including Key Stage 3 Design Technology, DT Textiles GCSE (DT Specification), and Fashion and Textiles GCSE and A-Level (Art and Design Specification). This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our students' learning and development.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a relevant first degree and be QTS qualified by the start date.
• Possess strong subject knowledge and experience to teach Design Technology at KS3, DT Textiles GCSE, and Fashion and Textiles at GCSE and A-Level (Art and Design Specification).
• Be passionate about motivating and inspiring students to engage with Design Technology and Art.
• Be committed to contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
