About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Leeds, supporting children and young people with complex learning needs. This full-time role will start as soon as possible and run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with complex learning needs, including those with physical needs.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to support student development.
• Monitor and report on student progress and behavior.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with or supporting students with complex learning needs.
• Background in a care environment is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Relevant qualifications in education or care support are advantageous.
