The Company:

The company are a market leading manufacturer of pumping solutions for the waste water and clean water industry.

The Role:

To effectively construct, design and contract manage pump projects from order receipt to delivery to the Customer within agreed timescales and required margins.

Duties include, but aren t limited to:

• Creation and maintenance of accurate GA s of Bills of Material within EMIR system
• Contract Manage projects from order receipt to delivery to Customer including project planning, cost control and documentation management
• Ensure all data recording systems are up to date including drawing/part revision and managing the engineering change process.
• Occasionally concept design but the majority of this role is modification to existing designs, pipework dimensions. Taking pump models and then doing the general assembly drawings, pipe connections, tanks. BOM s (using an ERP system)

About you:

• 5+ years within a draughtsman role
• Experience designing Mechanical products (do not have to have come from pumps)
• Strong working experience of CAD and 3D modelling preferably Solidworks
• Minimum HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• experience using an ERP system
• Experience managing design projects

Package:

• £35,000 - £42,000 per year depending on experience
• Monday Thursday 8:00am 4:30pm, half day on Friday
• 25 days annual leave + banks
• Discretionary bonus
• Statutory pension
