Commercial Finance Manager

A creative, PE backed media agency based in the heart of London is currently seeking a new Commercial Finance Manager to join the team.

Finance is a key function within the business, focusing on delivering best in class and ensuring all internal stakeholders, agencies, media owners and clients are serviced to the best of our abilities. This is a newly created role due to growth and will report into the Financial Controller. With multiple new offices opening across the globe, it's an exciting time to join the team!

Responsibilities:

1. Manage budgeting and forecasting process including developing and extending the current long-term business model.
2. Business partner with various stakeholders across the business and look at ways to establish best commercial practice and provide timely analysis for strategic objectives.
3. Partner with business units to provide financial information and analysis as required.
4. Work closely with the Financial Controller to establish strong procedure, control and commercial support to the growing International business.
5. Some posting of revenue journals at month end.
6. Establish a robust process for reporting on rebate calculations.
7. Revenue reporting and forecasting.
8. Assisting with cashflow forecasting.
9. Additional project work and process improvement to increase efficiencies.
10. Champion sustainability and advocate the value of positive social and environmental impact within your team.
11. Participate in projects and initiatives to drive positive social and environmental causes.

The ideal candidate will be Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and will have strong numeracy and analytical skills. Candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to communicate well with stakeholders at all levels, inside and outside of finance. Previous experience managing budget and forecasting processes is highly desirable, and experience working in a PE backed business in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
