Head of Investments - Renewable Energy Investment Platform

Head of Investments sought to join a leading Renewable Energy Investor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead key commercial aspects to deliver a portfolio of assets through all stages of development to financial close, leading all the relevant disciplines and workstreams required.
2. Sourcing new acquisition opportunities in the Renewable space in Europe.
3. Be a deal lead on financing, offtake procurement, and M&A processes.
4. Overseeing the financial modelling process and providing guidance to juniors.
5. Supporting team members in negotiating deal terms, preparing transaction documents, and managing the overall deal execution process.
6. Proactively analyse the financial impact of individual project risk, regulatory changes, and the economic environment on the group's portfolio.

Key Requirements:

1. 8+ years of experience in leading transactions/sourcing new opportunities with demonstrable experience in the renewable energy sector in Europe.
2. Experience in Investment Banking/Private Equity or comparable environment.
3. Proven commercial exposure to the Renewable Infrastructure sector, experience in industry due diligence, and strong financial modelling skills.
4. Experience leading a team.
5. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
6. Experience negotiating and finalising key agreements from conception to close.
7. Ideally outstanding academic record with a degree in a relevant discipline.
