Vehicle Technician - Independent Garage - Maidstone Area
Salary: 25,000 to 50,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, No Weekends

Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent garage located in the Maidstone area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work in a professional, customer-focused environment with no weekend work!

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to a wide range of makes and models.
• Performing MOT testing and ensuring all vehicles are inspected to the highest standard.
• Identifying and resolving mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Providing accurate documentation of the work carried out and keeping up-to-date with job records.
• Offering excellent customer service and professional advice to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are adhered to within the workshop.

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop environment (essential).
• Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Strong diagnostic skills and experience using diagnostic tools.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• MOT licence (desirable but not essential).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
