Our client, a well-established veterinary practice in Liverpool, is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled veterinarian to take on a leadership role in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Position Overview

As the Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the branch. You will provide clinical and non-clinical support to the team, engage in decision-making processes, handle client complaints, and contribute to the overall development of the team. Working closely with the senior management team, you will collaborate to enhance site operations and deliver high-quality veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional clinical care to small animal patients
• Manage and lead the veterinary team
• Offer guidance and support to team members in their professional development
• Engage in decision-making processes to improve site operations
• Address and resolve client complaints effectively
• Collaborate with the senior management team to enhance overall performance

Requirements

• Significant experience in small animal veterinary practice
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
• Passion for supporting and mentoring others
• Confidence in decision-making and excellent judgement
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Preferably experienced in business operations and financial understanding
