4 on 4 off shift pattern: 2 day shifts (7am-7pm), 2 night shifts (7pm - 7am), 4 off and repeat.

£32,475.46 / £15.51 per hour

We are currently recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join our Bridgwater Dairy within our M ller Milk & Ingredients business. The successful person will enable the Dairy with assuring quality performance through analysis, subject knowledge and testing performance whilst striving to continuously improve in line with the M ller values.

Key tasks as Laboratory Technician:

• Provide expertise through quality based testing and data evaluation
• Display drive and motivation to continually improve quality based performance
• Demonstrate active involvement in solving problems / trouble shooting through data analysis and evaluation
• Play an active part in building QMS capability across site
• Responsible for laboratory tasks and management systems (5S etc)
• Support and process confirms operations quality control responsibilities
• Have a good understanding and play an active part within the performance management system (PMS)
• Provide governance and ownership of Quality Index and other monthly reports
• Responsible for internal and external audit processes
• Display good team work ability
