Your new company
I am currently working for a not-for-profit company, which was set up by the UK Government, to recruit 2 x Licensing Sales Executives.
They are a collective management organisation for published materials, and they exist to support knowledge sharing, protect a company, and champion the creative ecosystem. Their revenue is distributed to their member organisations, who pay royalties directly to copyright owners.
Your new role
The role is responsible for organising and managing your own licensing sales executive portfolio, carrying out daily tasks accurately and efficiently to meet the company objectives whilst upholding the organisation's values in all interactions. The purpose of this role is to guide clients to get the proper licence solution to help simplify copyright clearance. The role of the LSE is to generate revenue from selling licences; this helps to ensure artists, publishers and authors are paid fairly for their work being used. The knowledge gained from client feedback is fed back to the broader business, which will help increase the collective understanding of the client's needs, which in turn allows the organisation to develop the right products and licences.
