The business requires a technically strong Financial Controller with commercial acumen to lead a growing team, implement processes and controls, and support in commercial decision making.
Responsibilities include:
- Establish company-wide financial objectives, targets, and develop budgets.
- Lead and develop a growing finance team.
- Create and maintain an executive dashboard with key KPIs for use by the CEO.
- Provide and upgrade existing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports on the financial performance across the business.
- Attend weekly Finance meetings, demonstrating the company's financial performance and the finance functions performance to the Board.
- Work with external advisors to prepare and submit annual Corporation Tax returns and ensure quarterly VAT returns are completed.
What you need for this job:
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or similar qualification with relevant experience.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior role in industry.
- Strong finance systems experience (preferable Xero) and intermediate to advanced Excel experience.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
