Senior Commercial Account Handler
Role Summary
We are looking for a reliable Senior Commercial Account Handler within the Commercial department. They will undertake administrative and customer service tasks, to help assist the team and offer great customer service experience to our clients whilst also supporting senior executives within the business.
Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Supporting the commercial team where necessary e.g., answering queries and sharing knowledge
- Working with senior executives to issue renewal and new business documentation to clients.
- Creating presentations to market and collating all risk details from Executives, etc.
- Liaising with Insurers to obtain terms and the best deals for our clients.
- Vehicles Adjustments and other MTA's such as Change of Address, etc.
- Ad-hoc re-broking cases in relation to unique requirements
- Cross-selling / New Business on enterprise cases
- Diary management on OpenGi
- Daily caseloads in respect of incoming post enquiries and emails
- Maintaining Client and Customer Relations to increase retention
Person Specifications
- 5 years' Experience of commercial insurance
- Confident telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised and systematic approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Self-starter and self-motivated in the working environment
- The ability to work to own initiative
- Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of Acturis management operating system
- Experience in new business or renewals role
- Handling larger cases and working alongside senior executives
