Key Responsibilities

- Oversee Assembly Operations : Ensure the efficient and accurate construction of cabinets and other components.
- Team Management : Provide guidance, training, and support to assembly workers, enhancing their skills and productivity.
- Quality Assurance : Monitor processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Material Handling : Also working with lamination and composite materials, ensuring proper handling and application techniques.
- Industry Expertise : Utilize experience from the boat building, aerospace, defence, or automotive sectors to inform best practices.
- Process Improvement : Identify and implement enhancements in assembly techniques and workflows.
- Performance Reporting : Maintain accurate records of production and report on performance metrics to management.

Skills and Qualifications

- Educational Background : Technical certification in carpentry or a related field is preferred but not essential
- Experience : A minimum of 5 years in assembly, specifically in carpentry or joinery, within a relevant industry such as boat building, aerospace, or automotive.
