We have a great role for an expert in Market Access and HEOR to lead a team in a new and exciting CRO.

THE POSITION

This individual will be responsible for both providing leadership to the Market Access and HEOR team and providing the intellectual and strategic direction required to meet our clients' objectives. This includes managing project implementation, leading a team of analysts, and contributing to the growth and direction of the business.

PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will focus primarily on the following types of projects:

  1. Specialist care or rare disease market access landscape insight
  2. Development of value strategies and messaging platforms
  3. Literature assimilation via SLR's, TLR's, HTA reviews or landscape reviews
  4. HTA dossier development (global value dossiers or HTA submissions)
  5. Market access policy
  6. Analysis of evidence gaps and proposing evidence generation plans
  7. Production of value communication tools and stakeholder engagement
TASKS
  1. Working with clients to understand their needs and achieve their goals
  2. Drafting proposals and defining project scope and methods
  3. Planning and monitoring project resources and timelines
  4. Providing guidance and overseeing the quality and content of research conducted by members of the project team
  5. Engaging with external clinical experts, payers and policy makers
  6. Analysis and synthesis of research into insights and strategies
  7. Preparing and proofreading deliverables
  8. Delivering reports and presentations
LINE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, the individual will be responsible for day-to-day management of a team of analysts, and will contribute to the following:

  1. Allocation of work and resources across projects
  2. Supporting and mentoring staff
  3. Identifying training needs and opportunities
  4. Conducting performance reviews
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  1. Act as the primary point of client contact throughout a project
  2. Create long-term partnerships and relationships with clients
  3. Working with existing clients to identify new and follow-on projects
BUSINESS OPERATIONAL AND STRATEGIC INPUT

Contribute to the development of efficient internal processes. Working with the Executive Vice President to plan resource, recruitment and the strategic direction of the business.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  1. Strong market access, health economics, outcomes research, pricing or policy experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting
  2. Client-facing and project management experience
  3. Scientific or economic background
  4. Line management experience
  5. Experience in rare or severe diseases such as oncology, immunology or blood disorders
  6. Strategic and analytical thinker
  7. Strong research skills
  8. Good at communicating complex ideas in a clear and succinct manner
  9. Excellent writing and presentation skills
  10. Attention to detail
  11. Ability to multi-task
  12. Capable of meeting timelines
  13. Postgraduate qualification in scientific field (e.g. policy, communications, economics, biostatistics, epidemiology) or life sciences would be beneficial but not a prerequisite
