Learning Support Assistant - Specialist School in Telford
Location: Telford
Salary: 85 - 100 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Aspire People are seeking LSA's to join a client school in Telford. This specialist through school provides a supportive environment for students with SEMH and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the academic, emotional, and social development of students
Assist with classroom management and provide tailored 1:1 support
Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement individual learning plans
Encourage positive behaviours and promote self-esteem in pupils
Requirements:
Experience working with students with SEMH and/or challenging behaviours
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and resilience
Ability to adapt to various situations and student needs
A passion for helping young people thrive
