Job Title: Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a child with additional needs. This part-time position is based at a school in Wigan and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in a student's educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with additional needs in the classroom.
• Assist with daily learning activities, social integration, and behaviour management.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement personalised learning plans.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both students and staff.
• A patient, caring, and empathetic approach to supporting children with special educational needs.

Position Details:

• Part-time: 2-3 days per week, from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
• Immediate start available.
• Initial telephone interviews will be held by Tradewind Recruitment, based in Liverpool.
