Factory Operative

This role is for independent company that produces a food product. We are looking for someone who is looking for a permanent role within a company that will help them to learn and grow, teaching new skills in a hands-on environment.

Your day-to-day duties as a Factory Operative will include:

- Assisting in the daily production duties

- Setting up the lines for the day

- Working alongside the technicians and engineers to learn how the machines run

- Learning to do daily/weekly checks and basic preventative maintenance

- Assisting with machine changeovers

- Working within various production areas

The ideal Factory Operative candidate:

- Interested in learning to run and maintain production machinery

- A helpful nature, willing to work within all departments as required

- Physically fit and healthy

- Looking for long term permanent work

- Experience with basic mechanics or engineering would be an advantage

Pay rate and working hours:

- Starting salary of up to 25,350

- Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
