Production Manager

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced permanent Production Manager for an expanding company West of Newcastle upon Tyne

The company is a UK-based company that manufactures, installs, and maintains industrial and specialist door systems. The company specializes in meeting the needs of clients in sectors across manufacturing, process, transport, storage, and logistics.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager to control, supervise and manage the manufacturing and production operations at the factory facility in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of manufacturing and production processes, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating workflow, managing resources, supervising staff, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to manage resources, including personnel, machines, and materials purchase.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ISO 9000 quality standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Achiever who gets things done
• Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for the role include experience with Lean or Six Sigma principles, knowledge of ERP and MRP systems, and relevant experience working in production engineering.
