What the role involves:


As a Business Development Manager, you will adopt a comprehensive 360-degree sales approach to identify and secure new business opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Lead Generation and Networking - Develop new business opportunities through strategic email campaigns, call strategies, attending industry events, networking, and social media networking.
  • Lead Qualification - Qualifying and closing inbound and outbound lead opportunities.
  • Sales Meetings - Schedule and conduct a minimum of 5 sales meetings per week.
  • CRM Management - Track and manage leads and opportunities using the CRM system.
  • Proposal and Contract Management - Create proposals, host pitches, close deals, and prepare client agreements for approval.
  • Client Onboarding - Collaborate with the media and digital project management teams to onboard new clients.
  • Upselling and Cross Selling - Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-channel business, and secure new business referrals.
  • Sales Targets - Achieve monthly sales targets as discussed during the interview stage.
  • Team Support – Work collaboratively with the other sales team members to build a healthy environment, fostering learning and development.
  • Client Billing - Raise and manage client billing with support from accounts.
  • Market Awareness - Stay updated on the latest online trends and strategies and communicate these to potential clients to convert them into paying clients.
  • Maintaining Climb Online’s high client retention rate by developing and fostering long lasting client relationships


We want you to have:


  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, B2B sales, or consultancy.
  • Should have a high level of competency and experience in SEO, either within a sales or delivery environment.
  • Experience across other marketing services such as, Paid Search, Paid Social and Creative Services would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record in identifying business opportunities, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to achieve personal and collective goals.
  • Skill in prioritising impactful tasks and projects.
  • Effective communication skills to convey specialised subjects to potential clients.
  • Innovation and process improvement skills.
  • Strong client relationship-building capabilities

  • Ability to learn quickly
