A fantastic opportunity to join a renowned Consumer PR agency.


My client, a leading PR agency with over 40 years of history renowned for its vibrant and dynamic personality, is seeking a Senior Account Director to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key figure within the agency, acting as the most senior contact for both current and potential clients. This is a strategic role requiring both leadership and creativity to deliver exceptional PR campaigns and drive business growth.

Level: Senior Account Director

Location: London, UK

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience


As Senior Account Director, you will serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring a consistently high standard of service. You will lead and manage a PR team, overseeing the delivery of innovative campaigns from initial brief through to execution.


In this role, you will oversee media strategies, analyse campaign outcomes, and present key insights to clients and the board. Building and nurturing relationships with key journalists, industry commentators, and influencers will be vital, alongside actively contributing to business growth by securing new business and expanding existing accounts. You will provide strategic counsel on crisis management, manage budgets to ensure profitability, and meet business objectives. Additionally, you will attend industry events to enhance the agency’s professional network and reputation.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in consumer lifestyle PR, with a proven track record of successful campaign implementation.
  • Strong industry network, particularly with senior journalists and members of the press.
  • Experience in business development, securing new clients, and growing revenue streams.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to nurture and develop talent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex PR strategies to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
