Head of Health & Safety

Our client already has considerable volume of developments in the residential sector and are now looking to recruit a Head of Health & Safety to join their successful and expanding team.

The selected candidate will report into the Managing Director and would be responsible for overseeing c10 projects in the South London region.

Key Technical Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in health and safety management, for a construction contractor or housebuilder, to include mixed use developments and all residential scheme types.
• Experience in leading safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Proven ability in leading and influencing safety culture and practices across all levels of an organisation.
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Familiarity with construction processes, methods, and technologies, particularly in relation to safety.
• Comprehensive understanding of health & safety and environmental legislation with up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and legislation
• Awareness of the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in construction safety.
• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in construction safety.
• Understanding of human factors and ergonomics in construction safety.
• IT Skills - Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
