Job: Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work in a small team including design, product, development, and QA to work on a multitude of exciting projects, with little technical dependencies there’s no stagnation here. This position will be prominently backend-focused with the following responsibilities:

• Help build and deliver the APIs and infrastructure including creating new apps from scratch
• Engineer in TypeScript on Node and deploy to AWS, primarily with serverless tech like Lambda, DynamoDB and API Gateway.
• Design event-driven solutions that scale to millions of requests per day leveraging tools like Datadog to monitor performance
• Build tools and best practices to make it easier for developers & customers
• Relish experimentation and try new techniques for quality improvement
• Get stuck in on prototypes and MVPs

What we’re seeking:

• Experience as a Senior Software Engineer which includes taking ownership and mentorship
• Expertise in modern web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, TypeScript, serverless, API Gateways) with a strong understanding of web architecture and design patterns.
• Experience building REST or GraphQL services and consider how your API choices impact the clients that call them
• You work best in small teams with great collaboration and energy.
