Engineering Sales Executive

This newly created role will take ownership of all sales activities for a brand-new product range. You will be working for a company renowned for selling high-value, low-volume engineering machinery. Due to their reputation and track record in sales and service, they have been approached to launch a new division in partnership with a major manufacturer of bespoke machinery.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing sales strategies, with the opportunity to build this area from the ground up. You will work alongside other sales teams across the business, creating lucrative partnerships and fostering entrepreneurship, which is at the heart of the company's ethos.

The team has won numerous industry awards and continues to grow. This role will give you the opportunity to work closely with directors as they expand their already impressive product portfolio.

The position will cover the entire UK market, with potential opportunities for global expansion. While the company operates a hybrid model for sales roles, you will need to live within a commutable distance of their site, located between Bedford and St Neots.

As this is a newly formed role, the base salary will depend on experience. The commission scheme or bonus structure is currently being defined and may be tailored to the individual and their background.

For this role, you will need:
Proven sales experience with low-volume, high-value engineering equipment.
A full UK driving license.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop long-standing relationships with customers.
