Project Buyer

A leading engineering company is seeking a Project Buyer to join their expanding team, specialising in Highly Regulated manufacturing projects.

The Role

As a Project Buyer, you’ll report into the Project Buyer Manager regarding procurement activity and site reviews whilst working with key stakeholders and engineering teams to provide appropriate material and highlight material that must be purchased. You’ll also manage export and change control with subcontractor and supplier contracts in line with the project needs whilst developing and supporting site cost reduction opportunities.

The Person

To succeed as a Project Buyer, you’ll need knowledge of project lifecycles and project delivery in Highly Regulated environments. You’ll require expertise in contract terms and conditions using NEC Contracts and ERP systems. Also, experience of building relationships with suppliers, working to supplier’s processes and delivering on agreed KPI’s.

The Package

As a Project Buyer, you’ll be on a salary up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience. In addition, there are other benefits included such as a good pension scheme, a true commitment to your development and career progression.
