The team is a multidisciplinary team with a range of skills to support project delivery. They are a highly experienced and high-performing team with growth plans within the team.
Your new role
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering electrical projects from inception to completion, including Design Review. Project values range up into the millions and as small as 100k. You will ensure the contractors are delivering projects on time and within budget along with acting as a technical lead for both internal and external teams.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a track history of delivering electrical projects on a range of types of buildings including housing and commercial/ corporate. Having experience of delivering projects for the public sector is key as it will help with understanding the process. You would ideally have a complete understanding of HV and HV projects. You must hold a Beng or HND/HNC in the related field and ideally hold the 18th edition.
What you'll get in return
As this is a public sector entity, the role does fall InScope of IR35, it will be paid via an umbrella company offering a rate of £300 to £450 per day dependent on experience. This will be a 3-month rolling contract with the opportunity to go permanent if you wish.
