ICSR is a relatively new, fast-growing and exciting consultancy which is focused on the Insurance sector. We provide advisory and resourcing support for our clients across a range of areas including Governance, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting Controls, Operations, IT, HR, Claims, Complaints and Project Management.
The business has big ambitions in the UK market in the coming years and is targeting both significant growth across all products and services that it offers and the development of new products and services including support to clients with their responsibilities for managing operational risks with a particular focus on developing and embedding Outsourcing, Third Party Management , Operational Resilience and DORA frameworks as these areas become more scrutinized from a regulatory perspective.
The role will involve the following:
Supporting the development of the individuals within the ICSR team more widely by involvement in a training and development program for all employees. ICSR is engaged in ESG/CSR and a supporter of several charities. It is also fully committed to ensuring equality and diversity and will require you to be engaged in both the CSR program and the development of the appropriate culture within the firm.
Desired Skills & Experience / Knowledge
Technical Skills / Knowledge – Essential
Demonstrated experience in the London Market Insurance sector, with a strong understanding of both broker and carrier operations.
Ability to work on both strategic and macro initiatives and work within detailed business plans and processes.
An understanding of the regulatory obligations for insurance businesses.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and influencing skills with high EQ.
An understanding of the importance of creating and maintaining a high reputation for ICSR.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' operations, workflows, and business processes
Identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains within the London Market Insurance context
Develop tailored strategies and solutions to address clients' operational challenges.
Plan, coordinate, and manage projects to ensure successful implementation of recommended solutions.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues.
Establish and communicate project milestones and deliverables to clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within ICSR to leverage collective expertise and resources.
