Our client is looking for an experienced Quality, Safety, and Environmental Engineer with a proven track record in facilitating integrated management systems within a small team.
What You'll Do:
- Support QHSE Manager: Help embed a culture of continuous improvement at our Loudwater facility by reporting on and achieving business objectives.
- Identify Improvement Areas: Report non-conformance and non-compliance issues, and suggest areas for improvement.
- Drive Preventive Measures: Promote preventive and corrective actions within the business.
- Primary Contact: Act as the main point of contact for assigned programs.
- Adhere to Audit Program: Ensure compliance with the QHSE Audit program and produce high-standard audit reports promptly.
- Conduct Audits: Perform internal and supplier system audits, guide third-party certification processes, and customer product audits.
- Root Cause Analysis: Address non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions using best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain QHSE policies, processes, and systems to assure quality, safety, and environmental management.
On Assigned Contracts:
- QHSE Project Management: Produce and maintain QHSE Lead Project Management Packs, including contract documentation and records.
- Meet Customer Requirements: Ensure customer QHSE requirements are understood and met within contracts.
- Review Products and Processes: Conduct reviews to prevent quality defects.
- Maintain Quality Plans: Generate and maintain contract quality plans and ensure product traceability.
- Lessons Learned: Record and apply lessons learned from contract improvements.
- Supplier Management: Perform supplier acceptance, witness testing support, and product release audits. Manage supplier/subcontractor quality, approval, and corrective actions.
