Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned manager to lead our Supply Chain Management (SCM) Policy, Export Control, and Governance functions within the defense industry. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive programs that ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding sensitive technology and information while optimizing our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of SCM policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Regulations for the defense sector.
- Oversee the export control compliance program, including classification of controlled items, export license applications, and compliance audits.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on SCM policies, export control regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and updates to export control regulations, ensuring the company’s programs remain compliant.
- Maintain strong relationships with government agencies responsible for export control enforcement.
- Analyze and report on SCM and export control activities, providing insights to senior management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline SCM operations while maintaining compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SCM policy and export control, preferably within the defense industry.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing Defense regulations compliant programs.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
