Job Title: Business Development Manager Medical Device Logistics
Location: Home Based / Remote
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE + Car Allowance + Comms + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Business Development/Sales Manager seeking a dynamic role that offers both challenge and reward?

This Business Development Manager position is working on behalf of a global third-party logistics business looking to grow their service offering in the UK, specifically within the medical devices and healthcare sector.

Role overview

The primary objective is to identify and secure new fulfilment opportunities within the medical devices sector, aligning with the company's strategic goals and individual sales targets. The role demands a proactive approach to meeting sales targets and contributing to the team s annual revenue goals.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer and prospect relations to secure future business.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and associated information for business won through prospecting activities.
  • Coordinate strategically with prospective client stakeholders, internal departments, and third-party service providers.
  • Understand and navigate complex supply chains, particularly multi-point B2B/B2C.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across UK and European business, and on-site with clients across the UK and potentially abroad.
Experience required
  • Proven experience of sales and business development activities, selling logistics services to the medical devices, diagnostics, and/or healthcare sector is required in this role.
  • You will need demonstrable success in sales with recognisable brands and a track record of profitable new business development.
  • Strong grasp of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Ability to build and develop positive cross-functional relationships across Group Companies.
  • Skilled in managing and negotiating high-value client contracts, including rate reviews and price increases.
  • Exceptional client manner, with strong and clear communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, or other CRM systems.
  • Understanding of digital media and its impact on marketing solutions.
The Package:
  • £60,000 £70,000 per annum.
  • Car Allowance.
