Customer Services Administrator

Hays are working alongside a global manufacturing business in Telford who are looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to working within a fast-paced environment with lots of opportunity for progression.
Your new role
As a Customer Services Administrator, your role is to handle any customer requirements from the quote up until order entry. This role is to give the customer first class service, offering assistance such as alternative products and promotional offers. This role works alongside sales-in with a frontline sales attitude and approach. Your role as a Customer Services Coordinator

  • Ensure all orders received are put onto the system.
  • Clerical support the Sales Team.
  • Maximise all sales opportunities by promoting the highest standard of customer care.
  • Maintain and develop customer records / profiles including recording information supplied by internal customers.
  • Receiving and recording any relevant customer feedback including assessing how our competitors are meeting our customer's needs.
  • Order entry.
  • Internal reports.
  • Customer education on current prices and part numbers.
  • Confirming stock availability when required.
  • Telesales - existing customers only (no cold calling)
  • Raising and submitting Pro-forma's
  • Customer Quotations.
  • Customer offer deal forms
  • Individual customer reports
  • Raising sample orders upon request and follow up.
  • Dealing with general public enquiries to promote our brand and products.
  • Provide departmental absence cover.
  • Carry out any reasonable task requested by management.
  • Investigate and raise credits.
What you'll need to succeed
•Previous experience in a high volume Customer Service role, preferably within FMCG.•Previous use of EDI order receipts system.•Must have a flexible approach to work to support the team.•Excellent communication skills and be able to forge excellent working relationships with customers by phone•Well organised.•Ability to work on their own.•Ability to use initiative.•Excellent data entry skills•High attention to detail
