Position: Senior Project Manager - 6 month Fixed term contract - 3 days in the office
We are looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead integrated projects within our innovative agency. Your primary focus will be on a key client in the beauty industry. With extensive project management experience, you will ensure the smooth execution of projects from initial briefings to final asset delivery.
In this pivotal role, you will adeptly navigate complex project environments, providing valuable guidance to cross-functional teams to meet project milestones. Your ability to coordinate resources, foster collaboration among creative and technical teams, and align projects with broader business objectives will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with project teams, including account management, creatives, design, strategy, and production.
- Lead and nurture high-performing teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Manage diverse stakeholders effectively, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with global network agencies to deliver work on time and within scope, addressing any concerns proactively.
Creative Oversight:
- Participate in triage for assigned clients, ensuring alignment across all workstreams.
- Engage in discussions around the creative aspects of projects to safeguard creative integrity.
Project Management:
- Oversee schedules and deliver multiple workstreams across various campaign channels, adhering to agreed scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, updating relevant departments on any schedule changes.
- Handle resource bookings and manage any issues that may impact project timelines.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring all materials meet professional standards.
Problem-Solving:
- Efficiently manage crises and make informed decisions under pressure to maintain project momentum.
- Identify potential delivery obstacles early in the project and implement mitigation strategies.
- Continuously seek improvements in project processes and quality assurance methodologies.
Financial Acumen:
- Understand the client’s commercial model and monitor the financial status of projects, flagging any overspending.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate costing and resource planning.
- Maintain core commercial documentation and track budgets for global agencies.
Professionalism:
- Be visible and engaged in the office, participating in team meetings and process improvement discussions.
- Ensure all documentation is of the highest standard, maintaining good organizational practices.
- Foster a positive team environment, focusing on solutions even in challenging situations.
- Champion creative excellence and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing integrated projects on a global scale.
- Strong background in various media channels including TV, digital, and social.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead multi-agency teams and collaborate effectively.
