Customer Due Diligence Analyst

Our customer, a global law firm is looking for an experienced CDD Analyst to join their Client Onboarding Team and support the business in completing AML/KYC due diligence checks.

Location - Hybrid in either Birmingham/Sheffield or Manchester.

Role Overview:

• As part of the team, you will conduct client due diligence and conflict checks to onboard our clients, ensuring we meet all our legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring a high standard of client due diligence and conflicts technical knowledge, and being competent to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Making sure all the AML documentation and records are kept up to date and filed promptly
• Recording and reviewing potential red flags and high-risk factors
• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments at client and matter level
• Carrying out conflict searches for all potential, new, and existing clients and matters

Essential

• In-depth technical knowledge, skills, and experience in client due diligence and Conflicts ideally in a law firm.
• A detailed understanding of the regulatory environment in which the firm operates for client due diligence and Conflicts for both domestic and international individual and business clients.
• Excellent Analytical Skills Knowledge of CDD and EDD policies and procedures
• Passion for quality and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills are essential, written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
