Security Supervisor (London, EN5)

Role: Campus Security Supervisor North London

Location type: Educational setting

Location: EN5 (must live within 40 minutes travel of the site)

Pay rate: 13.02 per hour

Shift Pattern: Monday Friday

8am - 6pm Monday & Friday

8am 8pm Tuesday to Thursday

Our customer is a forward-thinking privately-owned company who are a leading provider of professional integrated bespoke security and facilities management services, giving their clients a flexible and scalable approach to addressing their security and FM requirements in their businesses across an array of sectors including educational settings / student accommodation, healthcare, charitable, corporate / estate management, warehouse / distribution, social housing, utilities, shopping centres / retail parks.

Join our team as a Security Supervisor and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our client, their employees and people who visit their site. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in preventing loss, ensuring the safety of individuals, and protecting property. You will be an ambassador of the Company and Client to the public and employees therefore this role demands professional approach dealing with all security related issues in a calm professional and confident manner.

Key duties for the Security Supervisor:

• Management of the security team on site (3 Officers)

• Rosters and holiday / absence management

• Development of the team and their training

• Dealing with incidents and following correct escalation process

• Any other duties as required

Requirements for the Campus Security Supervisor:

• Experience of managing a team of officers
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Experienced and confident in conflict management
• First Aid certified
• Happy for an enhanced DBS to be undertaken
• I.T skills
• Valid Door Supervisor SIA licence is essential for the role
