English Teacher

Your role as an English teacher's role will involve teaching language skills like reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while fostering critical thinking and creativity. You will guide students in analysing texts, forming opinions, and expressing ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. By introducing diverse literature, you will promote cultural awareness and empathy, while also preparing students for exams and further education.

Academics have built outstanding relationships across Herefordshire and are seeking an English Teacher for a Maternity Cover contract starting after the October half term for a secondary school in Borehamwood. This would be to cover with full teaching responsibilities e.g. planning and marking.

The Role: English Teacher

Contract: Maternity Contract, full time

Pay: 160 to 240 depending on experience.

Must Have

• Experience working as an English teacher in the UK
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
