P.E Sports Coach

Milk Education are currently recruiting for Sports Coaches in the Manchester area to start working in our schools in Sep 2024. Pay for this Sports Coach role is between 15.38 and 18.41 per hour. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join our PE team's within our schools and inspire students of all ages to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports coaching and educating individuals on various sports disciplines. A sports based degree/college course and/or experience working with young people is preferred but not essential. Responsibilities of this Sports Coach role - Develop and implement training programmes tailored to individual and team needs - Instruct athletes on proper techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport - Motivate and encourage athletes to enhance their skills and performance - Organise and supervise practice sessions and competitive events - Provide constructive feedback to athletes to support their growth and development - Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants What do you need for this Sports Coach role: A DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one Be able to provide your two most recent professional references, college/uni tutor and any work based experience is acceptable Be available a minimum of two days a week Live within commutable distance of Manchester Experience required for this Sports Coach role: - Previous experience in sports coaching is preferred but not essential - Ability to educate and communicate effectively with athletes of different ages and skill levels - Strong knowledge of various sports disciplines and coaching methods - Qualifications in sports coaching or relevant certifications are advantageous.
