Security Engineering Manager

Market leading banking group seeks a Lead Security Engineer to manage a team of 5 security engineers.

In addition to leading the team, you will own a portfolio of services. You will be responsible for the deployment, configuration and management of security technologies, including vulnerability management tooling (Tenable) and boundary Firewalls. The role will also involve automation, optimisation and reporting on key metrics to the internal teams.

The successful candidate will have managed a team previously (this is a prerequisite) and will have security engineering experience gained in a large, regulated enterprise (ideally FTSE financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecoms etc). Knowledge of vulnerability management tooling (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7 or similar) would be beneficial.

The role is based in Northampton and requires 2 days a week in the office.

Salary up to £85,000 + excellent bonus potential.
