Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Platform Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in AWS technologies and a strong background in IT consulting and analytics. This role involves implementing and managing cloud solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Plan, implement, and scale AWS cloud infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and optimize performance.
- Continuous Integration and Deployment:
- Manage CI/CD methodologies for deploying microservices and Lambda functions, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
- Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement cloud-based software services that meet technical and business requirements.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC):
- Utilize tools such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK to implement IaC, ensuring consistent and scalable infrastructure deployment.
- Monitoring and Logging Solutions:
- Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring and logging systems using AWS CloudWatch and other tools to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Security and Data Protection:
- Ensure the highest levels of data security, applying AWS best practices to protect information assets and safeguard client data.
- Best Practices Documentation:
- Define, document, and enforce best practices and strategies for cloud infrastructure, focusing on security, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in cloud engineering with deep expertise in AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
- Proven experience in managing CI/CD pipelines for microservices and Lambda functions.
- Strong background in IT consulting and cloud analytics, with a focus on optimizing cloud infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of AWS security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions like AWS CloudWatch.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design and manage secure, scalable cloud environments.
- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across cross-functional teams.
