We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Harlow. If you have a passion for civil engineering, highways, and are looking for your next exciting opportunity, this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of Bills of Quantities by taking off measures from drawings
Working on highway projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of QS services
Contract administration and management, with particular focus on NEC 3 and NEC 4 (advantageous)
Cost planning, measurement, and managing costs throughout the project lifecycle
Liaising effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Monitoring and managing project budgets to ensure profitability
Producing reports and valuations for projects
Ensuring compliance with all legal and contractual obligations

Essential Requirements:
HND in Civil Engineering or similar qualification
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with proven civil engineering and highways experience
Experience in producing Bills of Quantities and taking off measures from drawings
Strong understanding of highway project measurement
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role
Strong commercial awareness, with a focus on business success
Good time management skills and the ability to manage workload effectively under pressure
Valid UK driving licence
Desirable:
Knowledge and experience with NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts
