Quantity Surveyor

GBRS are actively seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's Major Projects Division, based in Weston-super-Mare. A percentage of this role will require attendance on site, working alongside the Project Managers within the office for project delivery.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Taking commercial responsibility of the project(s)
• Collation and pricing of variations
• Be responsible for the collection of retention
• Preparation of applications for payment
• Create and analyse end of project profit and loss reports
• Obtaining variation costs from contractors and issuing valuation payment notices.

Essential Experience:

• You must have proven experience within the commercial construction industry
• Stakeholder management
• Understanding of technical drawings
• Knowledge and awareness of contracts
