Head of Sales - Tech Consultancy - £170k base - London

The Role

As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of skilled sales professionals while actively contributing to revenue generation. Your mission will be to drive new business growth within the services domain, leveraging your expertise to identify opportunities, cultivate relationships, and win large-scale, complex deals. You will need to bring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to develop a robust pipeline, exceed targets, and deliver value to our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of “hunters” to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Actively engage as an individual contributor, driving direct sales efforts to secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Foster relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with service delivery, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Track sales metrics, forecast revenue, and report on performance to senior leadership.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record as a Head of Sales or equivalent role within the tech consultancy services space.
  • Experience in leading and managing a sales team while maintaining a strong individual sales performance.
  • Background in services-focused sales, ideally within IT consulting, digital transformation, cloud, or managed services.
  • Experience selling consultancy services in one of the following: Financial Services, Insurance, Manufactoring is a bonus
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships with stakeholders, negotiate deals, and close complex sales.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach and the agility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of the IT services landscape and the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and team members.


Package:

Base Salary up to £170,000

30% annual bonus

London - 2 days per week in the office
