Job Description

Commercial property associate solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in commercial property matters or legal executive sought on a permanent basis for long established firm based Essex and London border.

Our client based in Hertfordshire is looking for an associate solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE or legal executive to work in their commercial property and real estate department. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with a desire to develop and progress in a reputable department whilst managing a varied caseload. This is an office-based role.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Purchases
• Joint Ventures
• Site Sales and Acquisitions for Landowners and Developers
• Promotion and Collaboration Agreements
• Managing Property Portfolios
• Sales and Disposal of Plots
• Buying or Selling Company Premises
• Commercial Leases for Landlord and/or Tenant

The Candidate

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in commercial property and real estate or legal executive
• Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Able to manage own caseload with minimal supervision
• Taking a proactive approach with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks is essential
• Works well as part of a team but equally comfortable working on own initiative
• Seeks to develop and progress in a reputable department
